Wow, I haven’t updated my blog since my last HNT. I try to make it a point to post at least once between half-nekkid Thursdays, because I don’t want my blog to become just that. I guess I just haven’t had much to say these days. Or at least, not much to say here. I have thoughts on politics and current events, yet do not generally share those because I’m not confident that I know enough to say anything. Then, I usually try new recipes, but this is a blog dedicated to things naughty, right? I work out, I could tell you the exercises I like. Or what I’ve been reading. I could certainly write pages upon pages about my relationship with BT, the arguments we get into, my emotional state, our differences… Hell, I think I could start a whole blog just about that! I usually try to refrain though because I’m afraid I’d make BT look bad. Washing my dirty laundry in public isn’t the nicest thing I could do towards my boyfriend, and that’s what I feel I’d be doing. Besides, that kind of stuff only interests girls!

I guess it all depends what I want this blog to be. But with a name like “Kink Unleashed”, I don’t have much leeway… lol.

That being said, I did take some pictures tonight (I wasn’t going to) and I also have heard that it’s Os’ birthday. So here you go, and cheers to you, Mr. HNT!

This isn’t a picture I would normally choose to post. I’ve mentioned before that I don’t “cheat” with my pictures, that I don’t Photoshop away the parts of myself that I don’t love. I do however select those which I feel show me off in a flattering way, and this isn’t one of them. Not in my mind, anyway.

Here’s the real truth: I don’t like how the tight undies make my hips bulge out. I don’t really like the shape of my butt all that much either… A part of me is aware that I’m quite small, probably even underweight, and that many women would hate me if they heard me say I don’t like my hips or my butt, and so I feel guilty even thinking it (talk about a mental vicious circle). So I’ve gotten into the habit to try and not mention anything I don’t like about myself, but it doesn’t make it go away. I guess it’s in big part why I participate in HNT so assiduously: it does help me with my self-image. Not necessarily the comments, although I love the lovin’, but the guts to put it out there, show the world (or at least my readers) my half-nekkidness. And then looking at the picture a while later and think “Hey, this picture wasn’t half bad!”

My apologies, I didn’t have time to check out other people’s HNTs last week. I usually at least stop by the ones’ who commented here. Last week though was just too crazy. I’ve been extra busy at work and unusually stressed – still am. Then, I had a pretty bad (read very, very bad) fight with Boy Toy. So yeah, I wasn’t in the HNT spirit.

This is me snapping a quick picture after my workout tonight. I was never big to start with, so it will never be a “I went from a size 10 to a size 2″ kinda difference, but I’d still like to think that it’s starting to show.

I was trying to come up with something smart to say about my HNT, a clever title, but I’m lacking the inspiration tonight. So I’ll just go with the straight, boring facts: this picture was inspired by this one, posted on Vixen’s blog a while back. I liked the idea and showed it to BT, who also thought it was cool. Monday night, we had a bit of time together (I call it training *evil grin*) and I took advantage of it to get him to take these pictures.

I always Photoshop my pictures. However, I don’t “cheat”. I mean, I don’t “fix” myself. Except for my tattoo: that I always remove if it’s showing. I use Photoshop first to crop the picture, then to enhance the image by adjusting the contrast, tweeking the colors, etc. I often add a kind of grainy effect, just because I really like it. This time, I played around a bit. I decided I wanted the background a bit more blurred, because I don’t want the place to be TOO recognizable. So I separated my body from the background, blurred the latter, added contrast and toned down the colors. For my body, I played with the contrast and brightness a little and desaturated the colors just a bit.

Perhaps the Photoshopping isn’t in the spirit of HNT, I don’t really know. But the truth is, I LIKE doing that kind of stuff, and so I do it.

Oh, and I just realized that I totally forgot this week was Olympics theme HNT. Damn!
