I didn’t set out to make mods or replacement parts – it just happened that Mrs. Edge and I have been playing with chastity and OD for years. I’m pretty handy with tools, and since I own a small machine shop, I’m often making or modifying parts for my own chastity devices.
There are a handful of “chastity geeks” who spend all sorts of time improving our devices, much in the same way that ‘puter geeks are overclocking their machines, or that gearhaeds are messing with their cars. I post an occasional article on how to fix or improve certain things on the common devices. Some people find it helpful.

You can get a chastity device because you masturbate too much, I guess. That’s not why WE play with it, though, and I know it’s the same for several other bloggers. What it does is it actually enhances one’s sex life. Males in chastity are apparently pretty much always aroused. Sounds good, no?
As far as swelling, I’m not sure BT has ever experienced it, but I do know once he woke me up in the middle of the night because he experienced some pain, the ring being too tight. We switched back to something slightly bigger. So I don’t know, maybe you are right and should have bought it bigger. Then again, if I remember correctly, Thumper (http://denyingthumper.com/) went for gradually smaller rings.

No more swelling. However, I did buy a Fort. I love it. It has taken quite a while to get the proper fit. I had problems with pullouts, but adjusted ring sizes. I have been having to go back and forth with the ring sizes because of discomfort, due to the hinge rivet. That rivet is just evil, but have overcome. I took a 2″ piece of surgical tubing and slid it over the ring to cover the rivet. Great Fix no more discomfort. Yeah!!!! I can’t believe how much sensitivity I have regained, and how much more intense the orgasms are, after just 2 weeks. This thing is awesome. Until, I went to the club a couple weeks ago. I was with a couple women, and upon paying the door fee, the bouncer whips out the metal detector wand(little did I know it was for use on the women, the men got pat downs). I about soiled my pants, I was imagining sirens and flashing lights going off, if they had use that thing on me. This was totally unexpected. This Fort, I can tell, is gonna be a lot of fun in the years to come.

Glad you’re enjoying the Fort, Brad! We use it wayyyy too little. I’m just hesitant to do so because he goes jogging every day and says it would be impossible to wear. He does wear those little tight jogging shorts, so the Fort would be very visible! I like the idea, but not him
